Sanskrit Name: Brihat Gokshura, Gajadaustrika / Gaja-shirshaki, Tittaphala, Bahu-kantaka. 

Common Name: Bada Gokhru, Vilayati Gokhru, Large Caltrops, Ubho Gokhru, Kadva Gokhru, Motha Gokhru, Yanai-nerunjil, Enuga Palleru.

Part Used: Fruit, Whole Plant, Leaves.

Dose: 3 - 6 gm or as directed by the physician

Rasa - Madhura

Guna - Guru, Snigdha, Picchila

Virya - Sheeta

Vipaka - Madhura

Karma -  Vata-Pitta Shamaka, Mutrala, Vrishya, Pramehahara, Rasayana, Ashmarihara.
