Dose: 3 - 6 gm or as directed by the physician

Indications (Uses & Benefits)

Constipation and abdominal distension (आनाहः/आध्मानम) (ānāhaḥ/ ādhmānam) [ITA-5.2.1.53]

Subdued digestive, metabolic factors (मन्दाग्नि) (mandāgniḥ) [ITA-5.11.1]

difficulty in digestion of food after a long time even though of proper quantity; heaviness of abdomen; heaviness of head; cough; breathlessness/difficulty in breathing; excessive salivation; vomiting; bodily exhaustion or tiredness; abdominal distension; constipation; gurgling intestinal sounds/borborygmi; dryness of mouth; inactivity/inertia of anus.

Abdominal colic (शूलः) (śūlaḥ) [ITA-5.34.1]

Lumps or growths (stable or transitory) in abdomen (गुल्मः) (gulmaḥ) [ITA-5.37.1]

Being confined to mahasrotasa; obstructing upper and lower orifices; colicky pain in abdomen; glandular swelling on palpation; glandular swelling between cardiac and bladder regions; glandular swelling which is mobile; glandular swelling which is fixed; glandular swelling increasing and decreasing in size; circular glandular swelling; sharp piercing type of pain; severe pain; difficulty in breathing; anahal/adhmanam; gulmal/rigidity/stiffness.

Worm Infestation / Helminthiasis / Parasitic Disease (कृमिरोग) (Kṛmiroga) [G-5]

Abdominal pain (colicky or persistent). Loss of appetite or abnormal craving for food, Nausea and vomiting. Diarrhea or constipation, Itching around the anus (especially at night, typical of pinworms). Paleness, fatigue, and weakness due to anemia. Swelling or bloating of the abdomen. Foul smell from mouth or body. Skin eruptions, itching, or rashes in some cases. Restlessness, irritability, disturbed sleep (especially in children).
