Common Name: Suva, Shulupha, Sulpha, Sowa, Indian Dil Fruit, Suva, Soya, Sova, Sabasige, Baishep, Shepa, Shepu, Satakuppa, Sadapa, Shibt, Soya.  

Part Used: Dried Ripe Fruits

Dose: 3 - 6 gm or as directed by the physician 

Rasapanchak (Properties):

Rasa -  Katu, Tikta

Guna - Snigdha

Virya -  Usna

Vipaka - Katu

Karma - Vaatahara, Kaphhara, Deepana, Sulaprashamana.
